**The February 22 meeting will be held in the Auditorium.  This is being done due to a potential scheduling conflict and for better acoustics.** 

The New Brighton Area School District will hold the February 22, 2021 board meeting at 7:30 pm in-person in the HS Auditorium and via Zoom.  We have moved to the Auditorium for additional space and can accommodate a total population of 80 based on the indoor 10% capacity limits.  For those who wish to attend virtually or if we reach capacity and can no longer accept additional attendees, the meeting will be streamed via Zoom.  You do NOT need to register in advance for the Zoom session and the link will be posted under the NEWS section of our website at 7:00 pm, in advance of the 7:30 pm start time for the meeting. 

For those attending virtually, if you wish to make public comment, you can type in the chat box to let the moderator know that you would like to participate or you may unmute during public comment in order to make a comment.

School Board Meetings are held on the 2nd (Committee Meeting) and 4th (Regular Voting Meeting) Monday of each month in the New Brighton Area High School Little Theatre at 7:30 P.M. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.





At the annual Reorganization Meeting of the New Brighton Area Board of School Directors held on Monday, December 7, 2020 the following meeting dates for 2021 were set:

Committee Meetings  - 2nd Monday of each month

Voting Meetings         - 4th Monday of each month

All meetings will be held in the High School Little Theatre, 3202 43rd Street, New Brighton, PA at 7:30 p.m.

**Until further notice meetings will be held either virtually or in the High School Central Gymnasium as to provide better social distancing opportunity.  If a meeting is to be held virtually, it will be posted to the NEWS section of our website announcing the virtual presentation style.  If that is not posted prior to a scheduled meeting, the meeting will occur in-person in the Central Gymnasium.  All attendees will be required to wear a mask at all times.  If an attendee has a medical reason which would prevent mask wearing, we ask that you contact us in advance so we can make arrangements for your participation.  You may contact Ms. Lorie Foster, Board Secretary, at 724-843-1795 x409.**



July – There will not be a meeting

August – 8/9/21 will be a Special Voting meeting for the purpose of, but not limited to, Personnel, immediately followed by the Committee Meeting

November – Only 1 meeting on 11/15/21

Reorganization - 12/6/21 at 7:00 pm with a Voting meeting to immediately follow.

Voting on the Preliminary Budget will occur on 1/25/2021.  The Preliminary Budget will be available for public review as of 1/5/2021 during regular business hours in the District Administration Office.  The voting on the Proposed Final Budget will be 5/24/2021.  Voting for the Final Budget will be 6/28/2021.  The budget will be available for public review as of 6/1/2021 during regular business hours in the District Administration Office.


Superintendent's Evaluation

The New Brighton Area School District Board of Directors has completed a Superintendent Performance Evaluation for Dr. Joseph A. Guarino and his performance rating was proficient or distinguished across all categories.
